Pennsylvania High School Softball - Friends' Central knocked off by Academy of the New Church

In Thursday's league test, the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA), by a count of 11-0.
Next, the Lions meet the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Academy of the New Church will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 5-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA).
The (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Hill School (Pottstown, PA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Hill School was routed by Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ), 16-10, in a non-league test.
