In Thursday's league test, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) softball squad got by the visiting Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN), by a tally of 5-4.

Next, the Storm meet the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 19-0 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, MN).

The Cardinals (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record.
