The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 21-7. Clinton County won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Butler County will attempt to advance on its 7-20 season record. The Purples go into the bout with a 14-12 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Todd County Central (Elkton, KY).
