The Scotia-Glenville Tartans softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Amsterdam Rams to 0 in the Tartans league win on Thursday.

The Tartans now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schuylerville for a Section 2 Foothills battle on Friday, May 2. Scotia-Glenville will confront a Horses team coming off a 10-5 league win over Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Horses record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Amsterdam moves to 3-9 on the season. The Rams host South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Section 2 Foothills battle on Monday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-1. South Glens Falls won 15-5 in their recent non-league battle against Camden (Camden, NY)
