California High School Softball - Compton Early College bounces Animo Leadership

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Compton Early College Rising Phoenix softball team scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles.
The Rising Phoenix (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA). The White Tigers go into the Mulholland match with a 4-5 record.
In their next game, the Aztec Eagles battle the Lennox Academy Panthers (Lennox, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 6. Animo Leadership will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 13-7 record after their 15-10 non-league loss to Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA).
