The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) and the host Baldwinsville Bees (Baldwinsville, NY), observed Fayetteville-Manlius's softball team get by Baldwinsville by a final score of 6-5.
The Hornets (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Black Knights go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Rome Free Academy was nipped by New Hartford (New Hartford, NY), 6-5, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bees battle the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) in a Section 3 Metro bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Baldwinsville will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
