Nevada High School Softball - Damonte Ranch sneaks past Carson

The Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) softball nipped the host Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena for a 5A North outing on Saturday, May 3. Damonte Ranch will encounter a Grizzlies team coming off a 6-2 league win over Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 9-19.

With the loss, Carson moves to 9-14 on the season. The Senators host Douglas (Minden, NV) to encounter the Tigers in a 5A North outing on Saturday, May 3. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 19-8. Douglas lost 5-4 in their recent league outing against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)
