The Clinton County Bulldogs overwhelmed the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Clinton County will attempt to upgrade on its 21-7 season record.

The Hornets (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Scotties go into the non-league challenge with a 2-18 record. In their last challenge, Glasgow was routed by Hart County (Munfordville, KY), 14-3, in a non-league challenge.
