The Colfax Falcons triumphed over the host Mira Loma Matadors softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Falcons play the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League challenge, on Monday, May 5. Colfax will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 12-4 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
