Utah High School Softball - Copper Hills succumbs to Riverton

May 1, 2025: West Jordan, UT 84088

In Thursday's league test, the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) softball squad overwhelmed the host Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT), by a tally of 16-2.

Next, the Silverwolves meet the Taylorsville Warriors (Taylorsville, UT) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. Riverton will attempt to advance on its 21-3 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 17-6 record after their 21-0 league win over Granger (West Valley City, UT).

The Grizzlies (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 2 test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Herriman prevailed over Bingham (South Jordan, UT), 2-1, in a league test.
