The Science Park Chargers triumphed over the host East Orange Campus Jaguars softball squad by a count of 21-8 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Science Park will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 14-9 non-league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ).

The Jaguars (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears enter the SEC - Independence challenge with a 9-1 record.
