In Thursday's league match, the host Elizabethtown Bears softball team scored a nice 16-2 win over the Lebanon Cedars.

The Bears (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Solanco (Quarryville, PA). The Golden Mules come into the Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 match with a 18-2 record. In their last match, Solanco notched a victory over Ephrata (Ephrata, PA), 11-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cedars confront the Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 match, on Monday, May 5. Lebanon will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Buckskins come into the match with a 6-9 record after their 12-2 league loss to Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA).
