In Thursday's league test, the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), by a tally of 21-2.

Next, the Maple Leafs meet the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 test, on Tuesday, May 6. Geneseo will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record.

The Silver Streaks (0-23) will now prepare for their test against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets go into the non-league test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Knoxville prevailed over Annawan-Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 10-0, in a league test.
