Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Grafton Spoilers (Grafton, ND), 16-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Thompson upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Tommies travel to Larimore (Larimore, ND) to play the Polar Bears in a Class B - Region 2 game on Friday, May 2. The Polar Bears enter the game with a record of 0-3. Larimore lost 12-2 in their recent league bout against Carrington (Carrington, ND)
In their next game, the Spoilers battle the Northern Lights (St. John, ND) in a Class B - Region 2 bout, on Monday, May 5. Grafton will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record.
