The Phillips Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Hubbard Greyhounds to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Julian for a Chicago Public Blue South battle on Saturday, May 3.
With the loss, Hubbard moves to 2-3 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Dunbar (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mightymen in a Chicago Public Blue South battle on Saturday, May 3. The Mightymen come into the battle with a record of 5-3. Dunbar lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Hyde Park (Chicago, IL)
