Wisconsin High School Softball - Hurley bounces South Shore

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hurley Northstars softball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the South Shore Cardinals.
The Northstars (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the Northern Lights match with a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI) in a Northern Lights match, on Monday, May 5. South Shore will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Granite Diggers go into the match with a 3-6 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI).
