In Thursday's non-league test, the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC), by a count of 20-3.

Next, the Tigers meet the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Jackson-Reed will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Mighty Hoppers go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to National Cathedral (Washington, DC).
