In Thursday's league test, the Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN) softball squad got by the visiting Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Jimmies clash with the LaVille Lancers (Lakeville, IN) in a Northern State test, on Tuesday, May 6. Jimtown will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 1-14 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Caston (Fulton, IN).

The Vikings (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Knox (Knox, IN). The Redskins go into the Northern State test with a 6-9 record.
