In Thursday's league test, the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Golden Gales meet the Lincoln Lions (Gahanna, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. Lancaster will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 14-7 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH).

The Wildcats (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 20-2 record. In their last test, Bloom-Carroll toppled Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH), 15-2, in a league test.
