Next, the clash with the Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) in a Cape Ann Kinney test, on Friday, May 2. Pentucket Regional will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Clippers go into the test with a 3-7 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA).

The Hornets (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Hamilton-Wenham Regional was routed by Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA), 11-7, in a non-league test.
