Pennsylvania High School Softball - Marion Center can't get by Purchase Line

Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 2-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Purchase Line upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Red Dragons travel to United (Armagh, PA) to play the Lions in a Heritage game on Friday, May 2. The Lions enter the game with a record of 0-16. United lost 11-0 in their recent league game against Portage (Portage, PA)

The Stingers now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Bishop McCort for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 7.
