New Jersey High School Softball - Mount St. Mary Academy succumbs to Ridge

In Thursday's non-league test, the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ), by a tally of 16-5.

Next, the Red Devil clash with the The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan test, on Saturday, May 3. Ridge will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Big Blue go into the test with a 12-1 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ).

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Hillsborough was routed by Immaculata (Somerville, NJ), 16-1, in a league test.
