The Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR) softball routed the host North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), 16-4 in Thursday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stayton for a 4A Oregon West outing on Monday, May 5. Sweet Home will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 14-4 league win over Cascade (Turner, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, North Marion moves to 5-9 on the season. The Huskies travel to Philomath (Philomath, OR) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 8-8. Philomath won 9-8 in their recent non-league outing against Newport (Newport, OR)
