New York High School Softball - Nyack defeated by Pearl River

The Nyack Red Hawks softball squad (Upper Nyack, NY), was routed 16-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Pearl River Pirates (Pearl River, NY)

With the triumph, Pearl River improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY) to face the Scotties in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 3. The Scotties enter the contest with a record of 8-5. Ballston Spa won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY)

The Red Hawks now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Nanuet for a Section 1 II - B contest on Monday, May 5. Nyack will face a Golden Knights squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Gorton (Yonkers, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-2.
