The Rogers Mountaineers softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Springdale Bulldogs to 3 in the Mountaineers league win on Thursday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Rogers will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 9-6 league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Springdale moves to 5-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Har-Ber (Springdale, AR) to confront the Wildcats in a 6A West battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 18-3. Har-Ber won 7-0 in their recent league battle against Rogers Heritage (Rogers, AR)
