The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) and the visiting Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA), observed Southampton's softball team prevail over Sussex Central by a tally of 22-0.

The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes go into the Tri-Rivers bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Windsor was routed by Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA), 11-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Sussex Central will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 19-10 league win over Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA).
