With the triumph, Ward Melville improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a Section 11 AA-1 game on Friday, May 2. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-10.

The Wildcats now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host West Babylon for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. Walt Whitman will play a Eagles squad coming off a 7-2 league win over West Islip (West Islip, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
