Illinois High School Baseball - Argo loses to Shepard

The Argo Argonauts baseball squad (Summit, IL), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Friday's league contest with the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL)

With the triumph, Shepard moves its record to 10-11 on the season. The Astros host Kennedy (Chicago, IL) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 2. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 10-9. Kennedy lost 8-6 in their recent league contest against Morgan Park (Chicago, IL)

The Argonauts now possess a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richards for a South Suburban - Red contest on Monday, May 4. Argo will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-10.
