The Bluejays now hold a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Royal Valley for a Big Seven test on Monday, May 4. Sabetha will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-16.

With the defeat, Hiawatha drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS) to face the Thunder in a Big Seven game on Monday, May 4. The Thunder enter the game with a record of 9-7. Nemaha Central won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Marysville (Marysville, KS)
