The Griffith Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting River Forest Ingots to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Griffith improves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Panthers host Highland (Highland, IN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, May 15. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 11-9.

In their next game, the Ingots clash with the Kouts Mustangs (Kouts, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 12. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 19-5 league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN).
