The Houlton Shiretowners baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats to 2 in the Shiretowners non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Shiretowners (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Orono (Orono, ME). The Riots go into the Class C North match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Orono gained a win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME), 7-4, in a league match.
The Wildcats (1-10) will now prepare for their match against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies go into the Class B North match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Foxcroft Academy gained a win over Central (East Corinth, ME), 14-4, in a non-league match.
