The Ledyard Colonels baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host New London Whalers to 6 in the Colonels league victory on Tuesday.
The Colonels (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II match with a 15-1 record. In their last match, Bacon Academy ran past New London (New London, CT), 4-3, in a league match.
