In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Ponderosa Bruins volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Nevada Union Miners.

The Bruins (26-4) will now prepare for their battle against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 23-7 record. In their last battle, Vista del Lago nudged Merced (Merced, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
