Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 12-9 in a league test.

The Flying Flucos now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Culpeper County for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 11. Fluvanna County will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 24-8 league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-3.

In their next game, the Fighting Hornets face the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, May 13. Orange County will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 15-13 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA).
