Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Stallions now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Queen's Grant will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-12.
