Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 13. Northside will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).

The Terriers now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fleming for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13.
