The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL) and the visiting Wethersfield/Annawan Titans (Kewanee, IL), saw Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s softball squad nip Wethersfield/Annawan by a count of 7-5.

The Spartans now sport a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will face a Steamers squad coming off a 8-5 league win over River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL). The Steamers record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Wethersfield/Annawan falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Titans host Mercer County (Aledo, IL) to face the Golden Eagles in a Lincoln Trail match on Thursday, May 12.
