Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms (Bayport, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host John Glenn Knights (Elwood, NY), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Phantoms now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hampton Bays for a Section 11 A-6 challenge on Thursday, May 12. Bayport-Blue Point will face a Baymen squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Baymen record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, John Glenn falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Shoreham-Wading River lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Miller Place (Miller Place, NY)
