Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA), 18-5 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summerville for a Mother Lode League challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Sonora will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Bears record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Bret Harte falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Bullfrogs travel to Argonaut (Jackson, CA) to face the Mustangs in a Mother Lode League challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 9-11. Argonaut lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)
