The Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) softball nipped the visiting Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), 8-7 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets go into the District 10 Region 4 bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Slippery Rock held off Titusville (Titusville, PA), 7-6, in a league bout.

The Beavers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a District 10 Region 4 bout on Thursday, May 12. Corry will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Oil City (Oil City, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-4.
