East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 23-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pontiac for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. East Peoria will face a Indians squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Indians record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Dunlap falls to 8-18 on the campaign. The Eagles host Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to face the Rockets in a Mid-Illini challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 4-10.
