Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) and the visiting Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN), witnessed Dyer County's softball squad tip Obion County by a count of 5-0.
The Choctaws now sport a 23-17 record. They play next when they host Munford for a non-league match on Monday, May 16. Dyer County will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 13-7.
