Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) and the visiting Erie Royals (Erie, PA), witnessed General McLane's softball squad prevail over Erie by a count of 16-0.

The Lancers now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Conneaut Area for a District 10 Region 5 match on Thursday, May 12. General McLane will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Erie moves to 0-3 on the season. The Royals host North East (North East, PA) to meet the Grape Pickers in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. The Grape Pickers go into the match with a record of 7-5. North East won 12-0 in their recent league match against Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA)
