Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 22-8 in a league challenge.

The Colonials now own a 2-10 record.

With the loss, Lewis falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Lancers host Edison (Alexandria, VA) to battle the Eagles in a National challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 13-3. Edison won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Annandale (Annandale, VA)
