The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) and the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), saw Libertyville's softball squad nip Zion-Benton by a count of 6-3.

The Wildcats now sport a 14-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Township for a North Suburban match on Monday, May 16. Libertyville will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 19-7.

With the loss, Zion-Benton falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Zee-bees travel to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to face the Bears in a North Suburban match on Wednesday, May 11. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 10-7. Lake Zurich won 21-2 in their recent league battle against Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL)
