The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) and the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), saw Louisa County's softball squad nip Western Albemarle by a count of 4-2.

The Lions now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlottesville for a Jefferson match on Thursday, May 12. Louisa County will face a Black Knights squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-12.

With the loss, Western Albemarle falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to face the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson match on Thursday, May 12. The Flying Flucos enter the match with a record of 11-7. Fluvanna County lost 5-2 in their recent league match against Orange County (Orange, VA)
