Virginia High School Softball - Lunenburg Central bounces Prince Edward County

The Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) softball routed the host Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA), 12-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Chargers (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bluestone (Skipwith, VA). The Barons go into the James River bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Bluestone was routed by Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 4-1, in a league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nottoway for a James River bout on Thursday, May 12. Prince Edward County will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.
