Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Maroons now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a Little Illini challenge on Monday, May 9. Robinson will battle a Golden Aces squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Golden Aces record now stands at 17-0.

With the loss, Oblong falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Dugger Union (Dugger, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a Southern Roads challenge on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-12. Dugger Union lost 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL)
