Tri-County Penguins (Plainfield, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Port Edwards Blackhawks (Port Edwards, WI), 10-5 in a league challenge.
The Penguins now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wild Rose for a Central Wisconsin - South challenge on Thursday, May 12.
With the loss, Port Edwards falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Rosholt (Rosholt, WI) to battle the Hornets in a challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-8.
