The Thornton Fractional South TBA routed the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The TBA (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan go into the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Bloom topped Thornridge (Dolton, IL), 17-0, in a league battle.

The Meteors now sport a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bremen for a South Suburban battle on Thursday, May 12. Thornton Fractional North will meet a Braves squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Braves record now stands at 7-19.
